About Me

Hi, I'm Brandon Corbin. I'm a life long learner, a chaotic creative, and a starter of things. I love helping people get new ideas launched.

Let's connect!

My Story

My story starts with a curious, chaotic child who was always testing boundaries and exploring the world with boundless energy. My parents, though unsure how to handle my spirited nature, fostered a love for art and creativity in me that would shape the rest of my life. This passion found its first spark in my dad’s print shop in the ’80s, where I discovered the Macintosh. I was immediately hooked by the magic of digital design.

By the time Photoshop 1.0 came along, I was already immersed. At just 13 years old, I landed my first logo design job for Rac’s International Cleaning, a moment that cemented my dream of running my own creative business. I went on to study Visual Communications and Fine Art at the Columbus College of Art and Design, where my passion for technology flourished. Ironically, I often found myself teaching my professors about Photoshop and other tools—an early sign that my path would diverge from the traditional.

Life took an unexpected turn when my girlfriend (now my wife) and I discovered we were expecting our daughter, Madison. Faced with the reality of becoming a father, I left college and joined my dad’s print shop, focusing on scanning and color-correcting photos. However, I couldn’t ignore my entrepreneurial spirit. I convinced my dad to pivot into web design, and together we started one of the first web design agencies in Carmel, Indiana.

Today, my journey has come full circle in many ways. My daughter, Maddy Corbin, has grown into a creative powerhouse in her own right, building her brand and helping others do the same. Meanwhile, I channel my creative energy into Happy Data Studio, a one-man agency where I tackle everything from UX design to product strategy. I thrive on solving complex challenges for my clients, blending my love for design, development, and innovation to create solutions that truly make a difference.

I’m also proud to be part of Therapprove, a platform dedicated to helping families of children with disabilities connect with the therapies they need. This work holds a special place in my heart as it allows me to combine my passion for problem-solving with a mission to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.

My path hasn’t been traditional—far from it. But it’s been driven by a constant desire to create, innovate, and leave the world a little better than I found it. Whether it’s through design, storytelling, or building solutions that help others thrive, I’m always excited for what’s next.
